About Campus Founders
A community for people who build.
Campus Founders brings together students from Trinity, UCD, DCU, TU Dublin, Maynooth, DBS, NCI and every other university and college in Dublin who want to start something. We connect them with founders, investors, startups and the wider Irish innovation ecosystem, and help them build companies of their own.
Mission
Make starting a company feel possible for every student, whatever and wherever they study, by putting them in the room with people who have done it and alongside peers who want to do it too.
Vision
The place where ambitious students in Ireland meet founders, build companies and find opportunities. We start in Dublin; the door is open to every campus.
Who it's for
Students who want to start something
You have an idea, or you want one. Find co-founders at any university, test it with people who've been there, and ship a first version.
Students who want to join something
Not every founder starts on day one. Join a member startup, pick up real experience and find internships in startups and scale-ups.
Every course, every campus
The best teams mix business, technology, design, law, psychology and media, and they rarely all sit in one college. If you want to build, you belong here.
Founders, mentors and investors
Share what you know, meet the next generation of Irish founders and find talent early. Join by invitation or ask the team to verify you.
What members get
- Founder talks, workshops, startup visits and pitch nights
- A searchable member directory and co-founder matching across universities
- A place to showcase your startup or project
- Curated opportunities: internships, competitions, accelerators, grants
- Bootcamps and cohort programmes with mentor feedback
- Recognition for showing up and building: badges, not leaderboards
Where we started
Campus Founders was started in 2026 by students who were part of the entrepreneurship society at Dublin Business School and wanted a community that didn't stop at one college's walls. It is now an independent platform, open to students from every university and college. It isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or run by any university, college or students' union.
How we run it
- Member data is never sold, rented or shared with sponsors. Contact between members happens only through opt-in connections, and partners reach members only if they accept.
- Partners and sponsors are listed only once a relationship is confirmed. Organisations we hope to work with are never presented as partners.
- Campus Founders is operated by Alcaraz Technologies (Dublin, Ireland), which takes payments for Plus, tickets, programmes and partnerships and reinvests them in events, guests and the platform.
- University and college names are used only to say where members study. We don't speak for any institution, and they don't speak for us.
- The platform's code is open source (MIT). The Campus Founders name, content and member data are not.
